Connect with eHealth Exchange and CommonWell with the RosettaHealth Platform

Active in all 50 states, eHealth Exchange is a “Network of Networks” that connects federal agencies and non-federal healthcare organizations so medical data can be exchanged nationwide to improve patient care and public health.

The eHealth Exchange network, which is working in 75 percent of all US hospitals, is leveraged by more than 30 electronic health record (EHR) technologies and 61 regional or state health information exchanges (HIEs).

Three federal agencies (Department of Defense, Department of Veteran Affairs, and Social Security Administration) participate in the network to share patient information with private sector partners as well as other agencies.

For HIEs and other organizations, being able to exchange information electronically with federal organizations and other participants in the eHealth Exchange community is vital to enhancing the quality of care to patients in their regions.

Thanks to the RosettaHealth platform, Healthcare Access San Antonio (HASA), the non-profit, community HIE for North, South and West Texas, was able to join eHealth Exchange.

In addition, the RosettaHealth platform makes it possible to share data with other systems on CommonWell, which has more than 22,000 healthcare provider sites in its nationwide network.

The RosettaHealth HealthBus platform makes this all possible by leveraging technology, server-less, and cloud infrastructure to provide scalable, secure information transport, data wrangling, and orchestration services – removing development time, cost and maintenance of in-house infrastructure.
