Automated COVID-19 POC Test Reporting for Long Term and Post Acute Care

For long term and post acute care (LTPAC) facilities, the ability to meet CMS requirements for COVID-19 Point of Care (POC) Test reporting can be a cumbersome and time-intensive process.

Whether the reporting is done through the CDC’s NHSN LTCF COVID-19 Module or through state-level reporting, these requirements will likely remain a priority in the future – even as we are emerging into a post-pandemic environment. 

In the coming weeks, we will be announcing an update to RosettaHealth’s NHSN Direct offering, which will allow LTPAC facilities to make COVID-19 POC Test reporting much easier. This is important considering that most of these facilities have limited staff, and available time, to fully manage this process.

As an alternative to manually entering test results into NHSN portal, NHSN Direct will offer a less-intensive solution to gather the data locally, and then submit it with a few mouse clicks. This will work for any healthcare facility that needs to report this data, including LTPAC facilities.
