RosettaHealth Legacy of Establishing the Fabric of Interoperability Today
While RosettaHealth has established itself as a trusted brand for advancing health data exchange in the care arena, many may not realize that the company’s legacy goes much deeper.
In fact, the RosettaHealth team worked closely with the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) defining and deploying standards, creating reference implementations, and establishing the fabric of interoperability that is expanding across the industry today.
Specifically, the team was instrumental in successfully transitioning the NwHIN Exchange (now eHealth) into production, defining the standards and protocols in the Direct Project, and spearheading several Direct pilots.
From this experience of defining these core standards, the RosettaHealth team parlayed this expertise into developing and deploying the most optimal health data exchange solution.
This ultimately became RosettaHealth’s HealthBus solution, a SaaS-based data transport platform, which normalizes and transports health events and records (EHRs) at scale across a variety of organizations such as hospitals, HIEs, and urgent and acute care systems. The platform allows for health data exchange over wide geographic areas at a fraction of the cost and effort of traditional methods.
Over the years, the adoption of the RosettaHealth platform has grown to the point where more than 40 million health records move across the platform per month. In addition, in 2021, the company achieved a wide-range of milestones, including achieving significant growth, new implementation milestones and new accreditations.
As we make our way into 2022, the RosettaHealth team will continue to develop innovative solutions that make the transportation of health data easier, more cost-effective and ubiquitous.
