Mission Cloud Plays Key Role in Advancing Generative AI

As a Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Tier Partner, Mission Cloud helps its customers to migrate, manage, modernize, and optimize their cloud environments, and build new applications with emerging technologies like generative AI.

In terms of generative AI, Mission Cloud specializes in helping organizations to navigate this process and provides guidance and a trusted perspective in developing a roadmap to success with AI. The company is also a beta partner for Amazon Bedrock, AWS’ native service for working with large language models.

The company demonstrates its thought leadership in generative AI through various deep-dive content articles, such as this comprehensive FAQ on generative AI.  Mission Cloud even developed this podcast with Dr. Ryan Ries, the company’s AI practice lead, about Intelligent Document Processing. But there’s a catch: It’s not actually Ryan doing the podcast, but an AI-generated version of his voice.

In September, Mission Cloud announced that it entered into a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS. The SCA will enable Mission Cloud to deepen capabilities and distribution across key strategic initiatives including generative AI. The SCA will also allow Mission Cloud to offer its comprehensive cloud services software “Mission Control” in the AWS Marketplace.

Overall, AI is certainly a key focus for AWS these days, as was highlighted at its recent CxO Advisory Council meeting at Amazon HQ2. Key topics discussed included how to effectively approach AI, re-skilling teams to support AI development, identifying customer problems, and developing data security measures.

In addition, AWS recently provided a few examples of how its customers use generative AI to transform business operations in this recent Silicon ANGLE article. These use cases include the PGA Tour enhancing the fan and player experiences, Thomson Reuters improving its products and services, and generative AI benefits for the life sciences.

This summer AWS launched AWS Health Scribe, which aims to save healthcare workers time with AI-generated transcripts and summaries of patient visits. This information can then be entered into the electronic health record system.

Although it’s only been a year since the launch of ChatGPT, it is clear that massive advances in generative AI have already taken place – and will continue to do so in the future.
