RosettaHealth Achieves Direct Trusted Agent Re-Accreditation from EHNAC and DirectTrust

RosettaHealth, an innovative, secure, standards-based SaaS interoperability platform that eases the movement of electronic medical records across organizational boundaries, announced today that it has achieved its re-accreditation with the Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program (DTAAP) for HISP from DirectTrust and the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC).

For the second time in a row, EHNAC evaluated RosettaHealth in areas of privacy, security and confidentiality; technical performance; business practices and organizational resources as it relates to Directed exchange participants. The re-accreditation reinforces how RosettaHealth is one of the most trusted names in health information exchange.

In addition, EHNAC re-reviewed the organization’s process of managing and transferring protected health information and determined that the organization meets or exceeds all EHNAC criteria and industry standards. Through the process, RosettaHealth demonstrated its adherence to strict standards and participation in the comprehensive, objective evaluation of its solution.

“The Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program ensures that organizations like RosettaHealth establish and uphold a superior level of trust for their stakeholders,” said Lee Barrett, executive director of EHNAC. “The need in the marketplace for guidance and accountability in health information exchange is undeniable, and we applaud RosettaHealth’s commitment to the highest standards in privacy, security and confidentiality.”

“We have had a long-term commitment to security and privacy, and this re-accreditation reinforces our unique vision of safely breaking down the barriers of health information exchange,” said Buff Colchagoff, CEO of RosettaHealth. “It also showcases how Direct Secure messaging is becoming a critical element in safely moving HIPAA covered medical records.”

Meeting all of the necessary security and privacy requirements, RosettaHealth’s HISPDirect solution adheres to the Direct standards, and provides customers with added assurance that patient data is completely safe.  Much more than just Meaningful Use messaging, HISPDirect provides the flexibility and control for managing post-acute and chronic care with ADT event notifications, public and population data reporting, as well as replaces PDF images with electronic medical records.

In addition, the RosettaHealth Platform and its suite of products and services was created by Nitor Group, a leader in health IT solutions. Nitor Group provides a toolkit of healthcare solutions and services enabling organizations to exchange healthcare information safely, securely, and efficiently based on legislated and industry accepted interoperability standards.

The Nitor Group team originally worked closely with the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) defining and deploying standards, creating reference implementations, and establishing the fabric of interoperability that is expanding across the industry today.
