RosettaHealth Big Data HealthBus Platform Transports Over 11 Million Electronic Health Records Via Direct in Q3 2017
Almost One Quarter of DirectTrust Exchanges Ran Across RosettaHealth’s HealthBus – The Era of Cloud-Based Big Health Data Transport is Upon Us
Washington, D.C. (February 20, 2018) – RosettaHealth, an innovative and secure, SaaS-based big health data transport platform, today announced that nearly 25 percent of the 46 million DirectTrust network transactions in Q3 2017 were transited on its health data exchange platform.
In addition, RosettaHealth is seeing this rate of exchange increasing significantly. During the month of September 2017, nearly 5.5 million Direct messages were sent or received using RosettaHealth’s HealthBus platform.
Unlike other solutions designed around supporting transitions of care and point-to-point messaging, RosettaHealth’s HealthBus solution focuses on big data needs. The solution has the capacity, scaling, and pricing to allow the exchange of massive amounts of health record data – enabling Population Health vendors, ACOs and HIEs to make large-scale exchange of records affordable and ubiquitous.
“We are very excited to see the growth in use of Direct messaging,” said Buff Colchagoff, CEO of RosettaHealth. “It is clear that Direct has grown out of its Meaningful Use roots into a really valuable transport for many forms of exchange. Having Direct messaging, along with other standards-based messaging in a powerful cloud-based solution, knocks down the last-mile barriers that are common with many big health data efforts.”
RosettaHealth’s cloud-based platform helps to commoditize electronic health record exchange. Rather than costly point-to-point connections, RosettaHealth’s HealthBus solution sends and receives any standard-based health events or records at scale using an innovative SaaS approach. This allows the exchange of data over wide geographic areas at a fraction of the cost and effort of traditional methods.
“RosettaHealth is leading health exchange into the big data era,” added Colchagoff.
In December 2017, the RosettaHealth platform achieved its re-accreditation with the Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program (DTAAP) for HISP from Direct Trust and the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC). The platform meets all of the necessary security and privacy requirements.
RosettaHealth’s HISPDirect solution was noted for adhering to the Direct standards, and providing customers with added assurance that patient data is completely safe.
RosettaHealth is used by EHRs, Hospitals, Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), payers, digital health apps, Population Health and analytics vendors, enabling efficient, seamless, and secure transportation of data to connect the whole world of healthcare.
At HIMSS 2018 booth #11418, RosettaHealth will be showcasing how it takes a community cast of startups, HIEs, and vendors to make health data exchange truly work. The company will be joined in its booth by Shatzkin Systems, HASA, IMAT Solutions, and SocialClime at the conference.
