Over the past several weeks, there have been a number of forward-thinking articles that offer a crystal-ball look into the hot health IT trends for 2021. From AI and machine learning to telehealth to advanced data analytics, there will be many expanding arenas and players in 2021.

In addition, interoperability was a key theme in this Health Tech predictions article, which showcases how data sharing will be vital for supporting widespread COVID-19 vaccination distribution. In early December, we ran a blog post about how health data exchange will be fundamentally critical for these efforts.

In taking this concept further, many of the emerging innovations can benefit from integrating health data exchange into their offerings. Traditionally, data interoperability was the realm of HIEs, ACOs and health systems.

Now, health IT innovators have the opportunity to leverage these kinds of capabilities through any type of technology – whether it be next-gen telehealth, precision medicine or social determinants of health innovations (and beyond).

By embracing these types of capabilities, health IT innovators are able to sell a more comprehensive set of solutions to hospitals, health systems and payers. Also, with interoperability being a major challenge in the care arena, health IT providers can easily “check this box” for their customers.

This is where RosettaHealth can help. Our HealthBus solution is a SaaS-based offering that enables full health information exchange capabilities for sending and receiving all standardized exchange formats.

It also offers real-time network analytics capabilities, which include detailed connection status as well as metrics and logs about each facility, feed or protocol – giving health IT providers the added data exchange capabilities that they may not already have.

RosettaHealth can assist with any health information challenges you might have, book a free consultation with one of our interoperability experts.
