Telehealth Usage to Rise After Presidential Executive Order
President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order aimed at boosting rural health care providers by enhancing telehealth policies that have foster virtual care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Seema Verma, Administrator, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), stated that this executive order will be a “boon” in the U.S., and help citizens in less populated parts of the country have access to proper care in their communities.
The pandemic has certainly been a driver in the expanded use of telehealth solutions, and this expansion into rural areas will potentially drive more usage. As a result, there are many new telehealth offerings – from both start-ups and established health IT companies – coming onto the market that need to access and integrate clinical data.
In April, RosettaHealth announced the launch of its Telehealth Express solution, which offers the fastest and easiest way to integrate clinical data with today’s evolving telehealth solutions.
Unlike other solutions that typically take 16-18 weeks to implement, RosettaHealth’s Telehealth Express can have vendors connected in days.
Here are some key benefits of this solution
Clinical Data from Anywhere: RosettaHealth's platform seamlessly connects with any HIT system providing you with your patients’ latest clinical records.
Zero Friction, Zero Footprint: RosettaHealth manages all of the complexity of acquiring patient data with its cloud-based platform.
Nearly Instant Integration: Telehealth vendors can be operational in days with RosettaHealth’s wide area of integrations options including VPN, IHE, REST API, XDR, SMTP and even custom protocols.
As telehealth vendors make the journey to ensure the long-term viability of their solutions, it is now possible to integrate with hospital and health system customers’ care systems, and effectively share clinical data in the fastest possible ways.
