PODCAST: Lisa Bari, CEO of Civitas Networks for Health, Discusses New Role and Future of Health Data Exchange

In the following RosettaHealth podcast interview, Lisa Bari, CEO of Civitas Networks for Health, discusses new role as full-time CEO, the future of health data exchange, and much more.

In early November, Civitas Networks for Health, a national collaborative of member organizations working to use health information exchange, health data and multi-stakeholder, cross-sector approaches to improve health, announced the selection of Lisa Bari as its CEO.

She had been serving as the Interim CEO of the newly formed Civitas Networks for Health and was formerly the Interim CEO of the Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC).

In this interview, Bari discusses her new role, along with a wide-range of topics around health data interoperability, including how care systems and HIEs were able to pivot quickly during the pandemic thanks to the value of the HIT infrastructure. She also discusses the move towards a public health utility model of health data exchange.
