Epic Systems Tops the Best in KLAS 2022 Report
Every year, the Best in KLAS report recognizes software and services companies who excel in helping healthcare professionals improve patient care. This annual report covers more than 1,000 health IT solutions and is a highly regarded source of information for care systems as they evaluate new solutions.
For the 2022 report, EHR provider Epic Systems rose to the top, and was named the best Overall Software Suite. This was actually the 12th year in a row that this health IT leader achieved this designation.
In particular, the company was named the best Overall Physician Practice Vendor, and won nine other Best in KLAS awards in various market segments. It also won the Best in KLAS patient portal for the fifth year in a row.
For each market segment in its report, KLAS ranks eligible software and service tools by their overall performance score on a 100-point scale. According to this Healthcare IT News article, software product scores are based on equally weighted customer responses to 16 numeric ratings questions and four yes-or-no questions, while service firm client feedback comprises nine numeric ratings questions and three yes-or-no questions.
In a market that continues to become increasingly competitive, being named the top Overall Software Suite by KLAS reinforces how Epic Systems is continuing its overall market dominance.
