In this RosettaHealth podcast interview, we speak with Phil Martie, Co-Founder and CEO of Nicolette, Inc., about the recent launch of the NicoBoard solution, which is a bedside empowerment technology for parents with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

For parents with babies in NICUs, this can be very challenging time where they often don’t feel empowered in the overall care of their children. While there are many patient-driven care solutions in the marketplace, there is a major gap in these types of innovations in the NICU environment.

To meet this need, Phil Martie founded Nicolette, Inc. based on his experience with premature twins in 2014, with the goal of empowering patients fighting acute health battles to be their own competent advocates.

Recently launched by Nicolette, Inc., NicoBoard dramatically improves parents' participation in their baby's care and enhances the partnership with their healthcare team. The solution provides families with the confidence and competence to be better caregivers, while also potentially reducing hospital length of stay and readmissions – yielding substantial savings to healthcare systems and payers.

In addition, the company announced that it has partnered with RosettaHealth to provide health data exchange capabilities -- to gain a complete picture of the care being provided for children in the NICUs.
