According to the latest KLAS First Look report, eHealth Exchange customers said the health information exchange (HIE) enables patient data exchange across state and regional HIEs and public health agencies.

Overall, this report offer very positive responses from eHealth Exchange users with nearly everyone saying that the HIE supported integration goals, promoted needed functionality, and would recommend the service to a friend. In addition, sixty-seven percent of respondents said they were highly satisfied with the HIE overall.

As the nation’s largest HIE, eHealth Exchange connects to 75 percent of all US hospitals, over 60 regional or state HIEs, and four government agencies, including Veterans Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD).

Last summer, we announced that HASA, the non-profit, community HIE for North, South and West Texas, used RosettaHealth’s multi-tenant health data exchange platform to join eHealth Exchange.

“This major milestone allows healthcare providers in Texas to exchange information electronically with federal organizations and other participants in the eHealth Exchange community,” said Phil Beckett, CEO of HASA, in the press release. “Ultimately, this helps to improve overall care outcomes for patients in our region through advanced health data exchange.”

The RosettaHealth HealthBus platform enabled HASA to join eHealth Exchange, and simplifies moving, transforming, and managing electronic health records while reducing costs by 50 percent. The platform leverages technology, server-less, and cloud infrastructure to provide scalable, secure information transport, data wrangling, and orchestration services – removing development time, cost and maintenance of in-house infrastructure.
